Plans for new skyscraper sky rockets

South Bend, IN - Now, under updated plans, the building will now top out at 15-stories.

Big plans for a new high-rise building in downtown South Bend just got bigger.
The 40-million dollar game day condominium complex will go up at Jefferson and St. Joseph Streets, just south of the College Football Hall of Fame.
The complex, proposed by a Georgia developer, was originally supposed to be 12-stories high!
Now, under updated plans, the building will now top out at 15-stories.
The number of condominium units has grown from 125, to 196.
The developer claims to have commitments for about 60-percent of the units. Construction is expected to start in March of next year.
