Al Bawadi proposals cause a stir

Pictures of what are believed to be the proposed models of buildings to be built in a DHS 100 billion project named Al Bawadi are causing a stir among the architecural community. The pictures show what are believed to be exact replicas of buildings such as the Petronas Towers, Bank of China Tower, Oriental Pearl and even the Burj Dubai which is under construction.

Architects are calling for restrictions on this project as it is "robbing designs which other architects have worked tirelessly on just for entertainment." as Robert Gresham said. "Dubai's construction boom is brilliant and it is their opportunity for them to show what originality, creativity and ideas they have however constructing towers which are exactly the same as ones that are already existing in other parts of the world is putting them in a bad light."

The proposal will feature thousands of hotel rooms in hundreds of hotels. It will have the largest concentration of hotels than any other place in the world and is set to rival Las Vegas.

Despite the uproar, the project appears to be carrying on as normal with advertisements becoming visible showing numerous areas to the project namely Land of Arabia, America, Europa.

MORE NEWS TO FOLLOW HOPEFULLY.
